"Fennel Anise Elixir": herbal delight from Turkey, Egypt, and Finland

Three ingredients. Three countries. This is our "Fennel Anise Elixir". Fennel and anise stem from Egypt and Turkey. Caraway comes from Finland. All three grow in fields. Fennel is mainly found in Mediterranean areas. It needs warm, nutrient-rich soil. Harvest time is at the end of September. The seeds come into the tea. For this purpose, the umbels are dried upside down. Anise is native to the eastern Mediterranean. Turkey, Spain, Hungary, Lebanon, and Egypt. Now it is mainly grown there. It is the same with anise, the seeds come into the tea. The umbels are cut, dried and the seeds are collected. This is how anise harvesting looks in early autumn. And caraway. It comes from the Middle East and the Mediterranean countries. However, today it is cultivated in Europe and Siberia. It needs loamy, sandy soil. The Finnish caraway is first-class quality. That's why it comes into our tea.
